Liberals have the tendency to cause consistent outrage with me, in just about every case, but I’m pretty sure this one takes the cake. Columbia University has invited Iranian dictator Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to speak in a Q & A. Do I need to mention that Columbia University appears to be more hospitable to the enemies of America and her allies, than conservative Patriots in our own country? The Dean of Columbia University says that he would have also invited Hitler for a “debate”! Huh? Why not invite Osama bin Laden while you’re at it?
The liberal leftist kooks who run Columbia University cite “freedom of speech” as justification for this modern-day Hitler; a Holocaust denier, to spread his vile hatred on our soil. However, the U.S. Constitution applies to AMERICANS ONLY, not our enemies.
I suppose that this not only can be used as an example to prove how insane the liberal left has become in this country. It can also be used as an opportunity to to arrest, and/or assassinate one of America’s deadliest enemies. I can say that if I was part of the “security” personnel protecting this lowlife, I might accidentally blow his brains out. Oops!
At the same time that this nonsense is taking place, Iran is parading missiles carried by vehicles displaying the words “Down with the U.S”.
So now we know that liberals embrace our enemies. Actually, this is not a new occurrence. Look back at the hippie movement. Jane Fonda anyone?
I expect mass protests against this, although I do not have very high expectations when it comes to liberals. We all know what contempt they have for America. I find it outrageous that our own President can generate more outrage with them, than someone who vows to destroy us, and is currently developing the weapons to do so.
Ahmadinejad, the modern-day Hitler, is scheduled to speak before the U.N General Assembly on Monday. This I find acceptable, as silly as his little speech will most likely be, just because it is the U.N. However, the White House plans to protect this guy, despite calling him the leader of a member of the “Axis of Evil”. What am I missing?
Iran is arming some of the very terrorists that our brave soldiers are currently fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. Iran has armed terrorists that kill and maim innocent Israeli women and children. Yes, liberals want to hear this guy’s anti-Western hate speech. INSANE!
President Bush, when will you grow some gonads? I say, assassinate the son-of-a-bitch, and avoid WWIII! Duh!
Yes, it is things like this that make me question the government’s intentions. I’m waiting for ALL of the Presidential Candidates to condemn this. I won’t hold my breath, because I value life.
America, we’ve officially reached a new low. How much more of this will we accept, before we decide to take our country back? My advice: buy lots of guns before before Hillary Clinton or Rudy Giuliani ban them. One of these days, you will probably need them.

Yes this is insane! What is happening to the brain-dead left in this country?
We definitely need a conservative president like Fred Thompson to put these people in their place.
I totally disagree that a conservative president will change anything. What about Bush?
There is nothing that one man can do. This is up to US, not politicians! If we as Americans demand that this is absolutely unacceptable, then and only then, will things change.
Thanks for visiting.
It’s funny that in many of your posts you speak a lot about taking responsibility, but all you seem to do is blame liberals. Honestly, I love this country, just like I love the church. But when I say country, I mean the people, not the government. And when I say church, I mean the people, and not the “churches” they attend.
I believe Bush is a terrorist. What is it that makes someone a terrorist? If we have agency over ourselves, is it not our own decision to be terrified? Islamic “terrorists” hate America because they see us as the great satan, and I would have to agree. Likewise, Bush terrifies me. I don’t want us to loose the war, but we will– which is why I believe we should cut our losses. In the long run, we will never win, ever, even if we had 200 years. It’d be like me trying to convince you to be a liberal– you won’t let it happen. The Islamic ‘terrorists’ are just as passionate about their beliefs as you are– or even more so.
Why is it that we expect peace through war? Is it because we went to war with England to get our own country and now we are at peace? If that is your stance, then we are doomed in Iraq. It’s not Iraq that’s fighting for their peace, it’s us, and outsider. Iraq doesn’t want what we have. Peace– yes, but a democracy, no.
They have been living their way for thousands of years, they aren’t accustomed to democracy. That doesn’t mean it’s bad or wrong, just different. A dictator/king isn’t bad or wrong either, just different. A dictator can be bad, but a dictator can also be good and selfless. If Iraq wants to be free, they need to stand up for themselves. If the USA is the only one defending Iraqis, how are the Iraqi’s going to defend themselves once we have “won” the war and we leave? They must earn their own respect. If the Iraqi’s had started the revolution and asked us for help that would be one thing, but that’s not what happened. I believe we should take our troops out of there, but that doesn’t mean I think we should do nothing. We need to help them, not do everything for them or tell them what to do. They need to come up with a plan, and if US support is part of the plan then fine, but they have to start by supporting themselves.
Did Jesus come to start a war and kill all the evil, or did he come to spread hope for peace? How did Jesus act when he encountered gentiles/pagans? Well, he didn’t kill them for starters, he showed them a way of love. Personally, I think war is only good for SELF defense, but then why are win in Iraq? Wasn’t that called Operation Iraqi Freedom? Doesn’t sound much like self defense, but as a liberating movement… which in my opinion should be done through more peaceful manners. Perhaps we, the people, should show the world that we aren’t the great satan, but rather compassionate loving people. They don’t hate us for the hell of it, they hate us for what they think we stand for– and I hate it too. We’re a bunch of money hungry, self-serving people, this damned capitalistic country– maybe it is the devil. I mean, how much more selfish can you get than the “American Dream”. Jesus spoke of selflessness, which was quite the opposite. Go ahead, say I support the terrorists– you won’t offend me.
Peace be with you all,
~Keith
Um, does WWII ring a bell?
It would be because kind words have never stopped murderers from murdering.
Um, then who the hell are we training? Bosnians? The Boy Scouts?
Neither were we 200+ years ago. Did that prevent us from Independence?
Are you actually suggesting that because of their thousands of years of oppression, that they happen to prefer it that way?
There is a colossal fallacy in your logic.
That statement alone discredits your entire argument. Nevertheless, I will continue to shred it to microscopic levels.
Name a single one! Stalin, Mao, Castro, Chavez — your commie buddies? Don’t assume I don’t know where you are going with this.
By the way, that is an insanely asinine and ignorant statement!
That’s factually incorrect. Go brush up on some history pal. There were people who tried to rise up, and they were gassed by Saddam.
I will remind you that in order to make an argument that is intended to be taken seriously, you must back it up with substantiated facts and evidence. Your own opinions and emotions don’t count. My dog also has emotions.
I thought liberals believe in liberty!!! Isn’t freedom what you people USED TO believe in?!?!
What a good American you are –admitting that you hate America. Good. Then you are a huge part of the problem. Why not leave? Nobody is keeping you here, unlike in some other countries, with your beloved nice and good dictators like Castro. Go live in Cuba for a year, and see how much better their system is than our horrible, horrible capitalism –where you are free to pursue whatever you wish. Oh yeah, in order to achieve success in capitalism, you have to participate. It’s called getting a job!
You called Bush a terrorist, and suggest that dictators like Saddam are not bad (that is unless his last name is Bush). Are you so dull minded that you actually believe that the people of Iraq hate us for liberating them from Saddam? If so, then why did they hang him?
Also, are you unaware that al-Qaeda is also killing innocent Iraqis? We are not fighting the good citizens of Iraq, and we are not killing them. It is the work of al-Qaeda, and their wannabe terrorist, copycat followers.
Is Bill Clinton also a terrorist for his MULTIPLE military operations during his tenure as Commander-in-Chief? You truly are ignorant! I bet you aren’t even old enough to vote yet, are you?
I knew you were a commie, before I even read this far! How predictable!
Speak for yourself when it comes to being money hungry. By the way, what have YOU personally done to help the poor?
Do you realize that America donates more money to poor countries than ALL other countries on this planet?
So, not only do we help the poor and oppressed find liberty and freedom, we also feed them, clothe them, assist in infrastructure, and help them with medicine.
I wouldn’t say you support the terrorists, because then I would be just as much much of a dumb, ill-informed, ignorant son-of-a-bitch as yourself. I will say that you support communism, because you all but said so.
Peace does not happen with words, it never has in the history of mankind. It ONLY happens with actions.
The simple fact is that without America, you would be living under Soviet-style tyranny. Then again, since you are obviously a commie low-life, you’d probably prefer it this way.
I, in my mind cannot fathom that, so I will go ahead and tell myself that you are yet another useful idiot.
By the way, next time you come to my blog, prepare your argument with intelligence, that of more than the level of a fifth grader, pal. I used your own words against you, and have exposed you for the [obvious] fool you are.
If you had mentioned WMD, then at least you would have had something with which to fall back on. Instead you suggest that we cannot win, because the people of Iraq prefer oppression. What a DUMB thing to say!
And I’m glad I don’t offend you. The TRUTH should never be offensive. If it is, then you truly need to take a good, hard look at YOURSELF. There is only ONE truth –the TRUTH.
Damn, where to begin? First off, I’ll go ahead and say I do like the IDEA of communism, but I don’t support it. All forms of communism tried to date are flawed systems requiring a dictator. The primary reason you don’t see selfless dictators is perhaps because selfless people don’t pursue power. I never said the Iraqis want to be oppressed, simply that they want a good dictator. Many nations had kings, and not all of them were evil and constantly slaughtering their citizens as you would have me to believe.
Probably the only dictatorship I would support is one where the people elect the dictator, preferably a selfless and wise person. I know that’s idealistic and that a selfless person may became corrupt with power, so we’d need some system of checks and balances. Hmm, sounds familiar. I love democracy, I prefer it to dictatorships and we should encourage others to adopt it, but not to force it down their throats.
Oh no, you caught me, I forgot to mention WMDs. Technically, we did enter Iraq in self-defense, preemptive self defense. But what I don’t understand is why our self-defense mission was called Operation Iraqi Freedom, and when the WMDs weren’t found, that name seems to have disappeared and it’s now just referred to as part of the “War on Terror”? Shouldn’t it be the other way around?
I believe we wont win this war because we aren’t changing our approach. We (America) are being a sore looser. We lost and can’t stand to admit it. I believe the only way we can be successful in Iraq is to realize the ‘game’ is over, we lost, and prepare for a re-match, one with a sound strategy, because our first one was flawed.
**I realized this war isn’t actually a game, so don’t get too caught up in the analogy, OK?**
I don’t understand how we can hope to win without admitting the mistakes and learning from them? Just cause Bush stood in front of a banner declaring “Mission Accomplished” doesn’t make it so. I said it’s impossible for us to win, or to see our objectives met, because the current administrations strategy isn’t working, nor will it. We CAN “win”, having a stable democracy in Iraq, but we have to change our strategy– but that has yet to happen under the current administration. I don’t hate Bush because of his “last name”, but because HE is ignorant. When he makes mistakes, he denies them and continues on out of spite. If it’s not spite, that takes us right back to ignorance which was my first thought.
You seem think I’m not old enough to vote, but the funniest part of it all is that I voted for Bush! Now I’m not only pissed at Bush, but also congress that won’t exercise their rights/obligations to check or balance. They speak out against Bush, but they don’t do anything about it, just talk.
You asked what do I do to help the poor? Not enough, honestly. I do try though. I work for a company who’s mission to help the poor and less fortunate. I could work elsewhere and make more money, but I feel my time and energy is more useful where I am. Our former director was selfless, but left recently and the new director is running the company into the ground only pursuing her own “success”, demanding insane salary increases of 30% for herself, leaving others with very little. America does a lot of good in the world, but you can’t be serious when you think capitalism hasn’t corrupted the morals of a large percentage of our society. Capitalism teaches others how to work the system to get ahead, for some reason I’m just not to fond of that.
Regards,
Keith
I disagree that there is such a thing as a good dictator, at least according to today’s definition. Kings were good to their loyal subjects, but not to the disloyal ones. They were executed, usually without trial. Name a single GOOD dictator on the planet.
Communism is NOT a good idea. I think it is a terrible idea to equate everyone in the sense that we all deserve the same.
I come from the school of believing that hard work is the backbone of achievement and success. Those who work the hardest, deserve the benefits of it, far more than those who don’t.
As far as your other comments, especially about those toward Bush, I couldn’t agree with you more. However, I still do not think that that is a good reason to give up, because our withdraw from Iraq will not simply make al-Qaeda and their wannabe copycats stop committing violent and barbaric acts of terror and destruction. Instead, it will give them the green light, and show them that we are weak and afraid.
I’d say the only reason to pull all of our troops out would be because we don’t want to nuke them when we drop the bomb.
As far as capitalism, it is easy to say that the system is corrupt, instead of blaming the few who abuse it.
You sound nothing more than jealous to me. I am not a wealthy man, but that does not stop me from trying to become one.
You know what’s funny? I actually voted for Gore in 2000! The true reason behind this is that I am a fan of Joe Lieberman, because he is an honest and courageous man.
I despise Bush too, mainly because of the myth that he is a conservative (he’s actually a globalist), but I would never consider a socialist lib like Obama to be the better alternative.
If you are anti-war, why not consider giving Ron Paul (a libertarian in ideology) a shot?
Obama will most likely not be the nominee anyway. He is ALL talk, and ZERO action — a typical liberal type; a grandstander.
