EDIT: This video is disappearing everywhere on the web. Good thing I have brilliantly found a link to it anyway. Just visit this page to watch the video. Don’t forget to come back here to leave your comment, and subscribe to my blog.
Enjoy it while it is there. I’m sure it will be removed, but you can be sure that I will find another one to post.
That’s right. The Chicago Bears will be playing in SuperBowl XLI baby! They face the Indianapolis Colts on February 4, 2007.
Da Bears are one win away from the Championship. Imagine, the Cardinals and the Bears both winning a championship during the same year’s season.
I might just crap my drawers!
EDIT: It seems that Google is removing all instances of the Super Bowl Shuffle. So enjoy it now before it is gone. I had to repost another video of this, but who knows how long it will be up.
Google sucks for doing this!
Go Bears!

Thank you Thank you Thank you. I have been looking for this since Sunday night.
You are welcome. You’ve been looking for this since Sunday night? I found it in about three seconds with a simple Google query.
Nevertheless, I’m glad I was able to help you. Are you a Bears fan too?
I am sooooooo bummed i missed the video! Why in the world was it taken down? What’s the deal? Anyway…I gotta tell you that I’m torn as to who to root for. I’m being honest. In the spirit of your blog, truthfully, I don’t know enough, but the way to get a fresh naive female fan to root for your team is to tell her why? Why should the Bears win. Tell me a story, a story from the heart, not stats, give me the human story and you’ll get a fan.
Bears fans are the best fans in the NFL.
I can tell you why I don’t care for Peyton Manning, from a human standpoint. He never takes responsibility for losing, but always does for winning. When the Colts win, it’s because of Peyton Manning. But when the Colts lose, it’s because of everyone else.
Don’t get me wrong, I try not to be negative about things, but that’s slightly hard to ignore.
On the other hand, Bears quarterback Rex Grossman is as humble of a player as you will find, and always brushes off compliments from the media, and acknowledges that football is a team sport.
The reason that I like the Bears is because of my upbringing. My dad raised me as a Bears fan. His dad raised him as a Bears fan. I will raise my son (if I have one), as a Bears fan.
In my lifetime, the Bears have been in the Super Bowl only once. They did win, but I don’t remember much of it.
I am also a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan (that’s a baseball team if you are unaware, but I’m sure you aren’t). This year they won the World Series. In my lifetime, this only happened once previous to 2006, but again, I don’t remember much of it. It was a very special thing to me.
So, to have both of my favorite teams win the championship would be unbelievable! What are the odds of this happening again in my lifetime?
I’ve got my nephews (two and four years old) even rooting for the Bears. They are very excited. And this is good. I want the boys to get excited about sports, and I look forward to seeing them play, if they do. Sports are great for learning skills in competition and other developmental traits. You can see my nephews in the sidebar of my blog, showing my Flickr photos.
Anyway, not to get off track here. The Bears have not been very good for a long time before a few years ago. Yet, the fans have been just as crazy about them then, as they are now. They brave sub-zero temperatures to watch them in Soldier Field in Chicago. The Colts have a dome, so they brave no weather to see the game.
In conclusion, I want the Bears to win because it is something which my nephews and I can always share together –our love for our team. When they are old enough, I will take them to Soldier Field to see a game in person –the absolute best Bears experience, outside of witnessing them win the Super Bowl. They will be able to tell their friends that “My Uncle Brent is so cool, because he takes us to the Bears games.”
Is that human enough for ya?
P.S. Are you fresh? Just wondering what that means, but it’s probably from your yoga stretches and postures, no doubt, and that alone puts a warm and fuzzy thought in my brain.
P.S.S. You didn’t miss the video. I have a link to it in my post. Just find the link, and watch the video. It’s from the 1985-86 team. I’m sure you’ll get a chuckle out of it. It’s a funny rap song from the Bears. All of the proceeds went to charity –another great reason to root for Da Bears! They are America’s team.
Btw, Happy Groundhog Day!
thank you!!!! Love it!!! ok, i’m rooting for the Bears. That’s inspiration. Now I gotta say, that even if you happen to have a girl, you also have got to inspire her to be a Bear’s fan.
Ok, so the use of the word ‘fresh’ is kinda weird, as a English as a second language sorta person, I often don’t use the best words. Fresh: 1. new; not previously known, met with, etc. 2. newly made or obtained 3. inexperienced; green; callow. That’s how I meant ‘fresh’, although given the yoga thing i could be: 1. looking youthful and healthy 2.pure, cool, or refreshing, as air. Personally I wouldn’t refer to myself like that
One last thing I thought you might find enjoyable given your passion for the Bears, maybe deepen the meaning even more, possibly even get more fans! kinda kooky!
“The Bear is the keeper of the dreamtime, and stores the teachings of dreams until the dreamer wakes up to them. Many tribes have called this space of inner-knowing the Dream Lodge, where the death of the illusion of physical reality overlays the expansiveness of eternity. It is in the Dream Lodge that our ancestors sit in Council and advise us regarding alternative pathways that lead to our goals.
If you like bears, you should maybe look into some books on interpreting dreams; especially if you’re a heavy dreamer. If you need a lot of sleep, it may be Bear working. This female receptive energy, for centuries has allowed visionaries, mystics, and shamans to prophesy.
The strength of Bear medicine is the power of introspection. Bear is not one to make snap decisions, nor one to ramrod or force into any position. Bear takes in all available information, takes it into his quiet place, studies that information carefully, gives it careful thought for a while, and then reaches his own informed decisions based on the facts at hand. Bear is the one who says, “I have to think about this. I’ll be in touch later.” You can rely on opinions coming from a Bear person as being well thought out and thorough, and based on the facts given. To accomplish the goals and dreams that we carry, the art of introspection is necessary.
Bear is a fierce warrior, especially when protecting their young. They appear to be lumbering and slow, but can have lightning speed when threatened. They love fish when they can get it, but they also eat berries, honey, etc. Bear people like home and shelter, and like to be warm and cozy.
With Bear Medicine, the power of knowing has invited you to enter the silence and become acquainted with the Dream Lodge, so that your goals may become concrete realities. This is the strength of Bear.”
I found that on a website mind you. I knew nothing about this before I searched for the meaning of Bears. Kinda neat!
Did the groundhog actually see his shadow?
I brought the DVD for $12.00 from an online store. My husband is hug fan!
Vow what an excellent video for the fans like me all around the world!!!Thanks
